Started writing a script

I started the process of writing a script. This is the next project that I hope to be shooting.

The Movies is alright.

The game isn't what I expected. I thought we would have total control over the movie making aspect. We don't. They don't hand over the camera, and you cannot tell the actors exactly what to do. Everything is pre-set. That was very disapointing. But as a game itsself, it pretty fun. But it's not going to make anybody good at filmmaking. Its just a Movie Simulator.

The Movies

Just picked up the PC game The Movies. I predict that I will be playing it all night tonight.

Filmmaking

I finally got the ads located on the right of this blog to work correctly. They now shoe relevant info for filmmaking. I know we arn't supposed to click on our own links, but a lot of the sites seem pretty cool. There was one for an online film school that seems pretty comprehensive. Give it a shot. If you made it here looking on how to become a filmmaker, the links on the right should help a lot.

Making the DVD for my short film

I started shooting some footage to use for the DVD menu system. And I must say, I even have impressed myself by figuring this out. While it won't look truly professional, it will look better than some of these DVD's that you have been buying.

I filmed blood splatter, staring down the barrel of a gun, and a few other things. Very cool stuff when it will be put together.

Blog

A blog is not a replacement for a website. A blog is a replacement for a journal. You have not made a website by typing in some words into bogger.
